Adobe Certified Associate (ACA)

Participants must be 13 years old or older to take an ACA (Adobe Certified Associate) Exam, typically requires 150 hours of instruction and hands-on experience in the application. Recommended for intermediate and advanced skill levels with 1+ years of experience in Adobe application.

Creative Cloud-based ACA certifications become non-current three years after date of issue

Within two weeks of passing a certification exam, you will receive an official certificate in the mail (postage) with an ACA logo that highlights your accomplishment.

By using two types of questions: (2 Sections) • Performance-based questions simulate the Adobe application, requiring the student to complete a task or perform a function. • Linear-based questions use traditional true/false, multiplechoice or matching formats.

To earn an Adobe Certified Associate certification, you must pass a 50-minute exam that tests your familiarity with core product features and capabilities, common workflows, basic project management, and foundational industry concepts.

There are six ACA certifications currently available: • Web Authoring Using Adobe Dreamweaver • Interactive Media Communication Using Adobe Flash Professional • Video Communication Using Adobe Premiere Pro • Visual Communication Using Adobe Photoshop • Graphic Design
